RAINBOW OF POSSIBILITIES + TOP MEMORIES FROM 2011
I woke up to a rainbow yesterday. Literally, a rainbow was across the ceiling in my old bedroom. I took some photos with my cell and dozed back off. When I woke up again, it was gone. Not sure what the rainbow thing means, but it gave me a sense of calm.
Right now, I’m still enjoying time with my family. I’ve been recharging and reflecting for the past couple of weeks. This year was kind of a blur for me, it went by fast. A lot of my dreams came to life in 2011, but I now realize I barely took the time out to actually enjoy them. My plan for 2012 is to be more organized and to actually take more time to reflect and appreciate what I have. With that said, here are some of my top memories of 2011.
- My first book my published.
- Spoke on 4 blogging panels.
- Was invited to the White House for a 2nd time.
- Was a keynote speaker.
- Walked in a Fashion Show.
- Styled a high-profile fashion shoot.
- Became a CNN.com contributor.
- Headed 5 advertising meetings.
- Won a Lifetime Achievement Award.
- Started writing poetry again.
I also experienced a lot of epiphanies this year and learned a lot about myself. I have a feeling 2012 will be an even better year. The sky is the limit. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
