I was invited to Essence’s 4th Annual ‘Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon’ held at the Beverly Hills Hotel earlier this week and it was AMAZING!!!! The event honored actresses Viola Davis, Angela Bassett, Loretta Devine, and Jennifer Hudson.
Overall, the luncheon was very inspiring and it was great to see so many black women in one room supporting each other. I felt so blessed to be able to meet some of the people I look up to and have been inspired by while growing up. Hopefully, they will start airing future luncheons on Television because that type of positivity needs to be shared with the world.
