I was trying this shawl on this weekend when my friend Felicia took this photo. I was looking at myself in the mirror and thinking “I’m pretty dope”.
Mirrors are tricky. If you like yourself too much you’re conceited and if you DON’T appreciate your reflection enough, you won’t realize your beauty. Try to look at yourself in the mirror everyday and say something positive. It will do wonders…. (just don’t do it too much OR..)

Today I used the @sharperimageofficial 4-in-1 Salad Spinner & Mandoline Slicer. The best thing about it is that it’s not only just a spinner, it has 3 interchangeable blades so you can slice cheese, onions, tomatoes, etc directly in the bowl. I opted to slice some smoked cheddar cheese on my spinach salad. So good. The spinner also has a lid for storage in the fridge.
If you scroll to the next photo you can see that I made a fresh Spinach salad mixed with basil vinaigrette & smoked cheddar cheese. Topped with crusted chicken breast & tomatoes. The @sharperimageofficial salad spinner is dope. Can’t wait to use it again.
Check out the latest Sharper Image product I was blessed enough to get my hands on! It’s their 700 watt Super Juicer!! I decided to try it out with some strawberries and apples. I couldn’t believe that the actual Apple fit though the chopper output too. Crazy. It was real easy to setup and the juice was banging.
As for cleanup, it has a back bucket where some of the excess pulp goes. You can either juice it some more or dump & clean. As for the chopper, warm water worked for me and you can take the pieces out easily to clean.
For those of you wondering if this is worth it? I say a blender is a tad bit better because you get ALL the vitamins & pulp from whatever you want to juice but the great thing about this is that there wasn’t that much pulp left.
In conclusion, even though a blender is easier the @sharperimageofficial super juicer is a great & affordable alternative. Great gift for the holiday season too!
As some of you may know, I’ve been cooking a lot for the past few months and so far I’ve lost almost 30 pounds (along with exercise). Cooking healthy meals is one of the main keys to keeping on track once you’ve changed to a healthy lifestyle! Well today I wanted to share my healthy meal for SALMON BURGERS w/ WEDGE FRIES!
All you need is
- 1 box of Salmon Burgers
- Provolone Cheese
- Some spinach
- Tomatoes
- Onions
- Sandwich Thins
& Whatever else you would want to put on your burger.
I used the dope 4-In-1 Stainless Steel Grill from THE SHARPER IMAGE and lets just say I’m in love. The grill comes with 4 different non-stick plates and I used it to cook my burgers and onions. It took about 15-20 minutes to cook the burger and it could have even been faster if I upped the heat. I’m really excited about this grill because it also has a waffle plate that I plan on using soon. If you want to read more about what this grill can do, make sure to check out THE SHARPER IMAGE!

( SELF PORTRAIT ) — It’s safe to say I loving this #mudcloth wall so far. Got 2 more to go. Lol!! Might even do the ceiling….
While you’re out planning your new life, I’m left here to pick up the pieces of your broken promises and broken words. Being shut out by you (a person I considered to be my closest friend), has been a hard loss for me. But I’m now realizing that you were never really my friend… You only tolarated me until I wasn’t useful anymore. Truth hurts and yeah I cry sometimes but I’ll be stronger in the long run. Be careful who you open up to y’all, only a handful of people actually care. Some people find joy in other people’s pain..
